Our Client is looking for a specialized SEO Manager to join their European Content & SEO Team and to support the Manufacturing & Integrated Acquisitions brands. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, developing & executing the EMEA SEO & Content strategy for all websites in Manufacturing & Integrated Acquisitions, with a focus on acquiring new, and retaining existing customers through effective campaign planning and execution, in line with the EMEA sales & marketing initiatives. The position involves overseeing strategic content and SEO initiatives throughout Europe, collaborating with diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate should possess keen attention to detail and the capability to cultivate robust relationships with various stakeholders, such as Merchandising and Copywriters, eCommerce and Website Development teams, Product Managers, Channel Managers, and the Global IT organization. Effective communication skills are crucial, with the candidate being comfortable engaging with managers, immediate team members, line management, and peers alike. Key responsibilities of our ‘SEO-Manager’: Formulating and taking ownership of the Content & SEO strategy by outlining priorities and tactics to achieve business objectives, while supporting content and marketing teams in executing the plan Optimizing Content and Copy: Auditing and enhancing both transactional and non-transactional content. Proposing, developing, and implementing a plan to deliver more captivating non-product content aimed at attracting, engaging, and retaining customers and leads. Analyzing and keyword-driven optimization of the website taxonomy to enhance customer experience and ensure optimized crawlability. Keyword Research: Implementation of a keyword strategy integrated with the broader content strategy. This involves monitoring keyword rankings and identifying opportunities through keyword monitoring platforms to build and optimize strategic keyword lists. Concurrently, actively working on improving rankings with the objective of delivering a strong return on investment (ROI). Technical On-Site Auditing and Reporting of Websites to Ensure SEO Health: Conduct continuous technical audits and monitoring of websites using SEO crawling tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Google Console, and Oncrawl. Stay updated on search engine changes, including algorithms, and adjust the execution of tactics and platforms accordingly to ensure compliance with guidelines and algorithms. Provide proactive recommendations to development teams to uphold SEO and crawlability standards and keep the platform optimized. Manage URL rewrites and redirections (404 / 301, etc.). Outreach: Enhance SEO Positions and Brand Visibility Through Link Acquisition Tactics. SEO Analytics & Reporting: Continuous monitoring and analysis of the main SEO Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring key stakeholders receive weekly and monthly updates: Track and report all SEO activities and overall organic performance using corporate SEO tools, Google Analytics, and Adobe Analytics. Monitor keyword rankings using SEO tools. Analyze data and provide proactive recommendations to optimize current marketing programs based on current and past delivery trends. Conduct ongoing competitor analysis to identify risks and opportunities. Management & Maximization of Our SEO Toolset: Utilize and optimize tools such as BrightEdge, Oncrawl, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and more. Constantly Seek Ways to Improve & Optimize Processes for Content Creation & SEO, Considering AI as an Opportunity. International SEO: Collaborate closely with other SEO teams in Europe and the Americas to share best practices and continually enhance SEO knowledge and adoption within the organization. Conduct training sessions to increase digital adoption and enhance SEO knowledge and capabilities among merchandising and other marketing/product teams. Ensure that SEO is comprehended and embraced at all levels of the organization. Coordinate projects within the content team and collaborate with other cross-functional areas and teams, including eCommerce, Paid Team, EU & Global SEO Team, Product Manager Teams, Platform Development, etc.


This is how we see our ‘SEO-Manager’: Minimum 5 years of experience in SEO for a medium to large size company. Perfect knowledge of Dutch and fluent in English. Experience in the 3 main SEO components : content & keyword research, technical & outreach / link building. You also have a technical SEO background with knowledge of HTML, JS rendering, website code and page structuring for the best SEO results. You can work with leading SEO tools like Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Brightedge, SEMrush… Strong analytical skills & proven experience with leading analytics platforms like Google Analytics & Adobe Analytics, as well as detailed understanding of the Google Search Console. Demonstrable ability to work in a results oriented environment with a focus on achieving KPIs. Strong project management skills and overall digital marketing awareness. Excellent communication skills, proven team worker & comfortable in collaborating with business representatives, partners, and agencies to create new opportunities. Ability to communicate efficiently to both a non-technical business audience and a technical IT audience. Coaching profile that enjoys to train & support team members & peers in their development. Very comfortable in working within a fast paced matrix organisation and comfortable to take direction from more than one manager/supervisor. Hands-on and independant when required, the right candidate is able to work with an off site manager and is confident in working with a certain level of autonomy, whilst still being an active team player within the European & Global SEO team. Ability to think creatively about innovative marketing. Solution oriented, dynamic personality with a focus on details. Strong Microsoft Office skills, fluent in Excel.>>>>>
