Spring Professional is looking for a Planning Officer to join our client’s Customer Service team in Zaventem, focusing on operations across the Benelux region.

Function

What You’ll Do:

  • Be the first point of contact for customers, answering calls professionally and with a focus on delivering an exceptional experience.
  • Keep customers and internal teams informed by tracking progress and providing timely updates.
  • Take ownership of requests and incidents – ensuring everything is handled smoothly, on time, and by the book.
  • Collaborate closely with field engineers and business units to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Drive efficiency by planning daily activities, dispatching tasks, and anticipating supply chain needs.
  • Tackle administrative tasks like managing purchase orders and resolving discrepancies with attention to detail.
  • Support policy interpretation and provide guidance to team members on standard procedures.
  • Think ahead and look for smarter ways to solve customer issues—your ideas are valued here.
  • Help identify trends, suggest improvements, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers to build strong and lasting relationships.

Requirements

You’re someone who communicates easily and you’re not afraid to take initiative. You’re organized, proactive, and eager to grow in a professional environment where every day brings something new.

  • You’re confident using a keyboard and phone, and you know how to keep conversations clear and professional.
  • You’ve handled some administrative tasks before, and you’re comfortable with basic planning tools and commercial workflows.
  • You’re analytical by nature—you understand the importance of deadlines (like SLAs) and can navigate tools like Microsoft Office and standard operating systems.
  • You stay calm under pressure, think critically, and always look for practical solutions.
    You’re fluent in English, Dutch and French —spoken and written—and can easily switch between languages when needed.
  • You’re passionate about helping customers and a real team player who can also work independently when needed.
