For a client active in the retail sector, we are looking for a Project Manager/ Media Marketing Support. This is a temporary assignment until the end of March 2025 (with a possibility of extension). Freelance is definitely an option.
Functie
1. Project Development, Management, and Transfer Project Development – Support/initiate and design projects based on business needs (timelines, resources, budgets, etc.) – Collect stakeholder input on objectives and priorities – Assess feasibility and define project relationships – Collaborate with financial analysts to define budgets (OPEX, CAPEX) and submit for approval – Select appropriate internal/external resources – Identify limits and risks and anticipate solutions Project Management – Support project launch and organize kick-off meetings – Contribute to Project Charter/Governance, Milestone, and Activity Plans – Manage weekly follow-up meetings and discuss actions/issues – Coordinate team activities and monitor project progress – Provide feedback to keep team motivated and aligned – Identify and address potential problems; adapt processes if needed – Report regularly on progress, challenges, and deviations from targets – Manage budgets and report anomalies Ownership and Transfer – Take ownership of the project from start to day-to-day process implementation – Resolve conflicts and opposing interests – Transfer knowledge and best practices to collaborators – Ensure smooth handover of new methodologies/tools – Conduct project evaluations and debriefs for lessons learned 2. Stakeholder Management Overall Management – Align regularly with stakeholders and maintain strong relationships – Act as the key contact for internal/external stakeholders – Monitor stakeholder satisfaction and integrate feedback IT – Manage MMD requests and provide functional/technical support – Guide IT teams in developing MMD-specific solutions – Ensure solutions are implemented on time and according to specifications NFR – Collaborate on drafting RFPs and selecting suppliers – Prepare supplier contracts and lead/participate in negotiations Legal – Act as MMD’s SPOC for legal aspects related to the department – Coordinate with the legal department on project execution 3. Operations & Planning, Processes, and Client Relations Support Operations & Planning – Develop and update operational plans for quick overview of activations – Support operations team with CRM, offline, and in-store requests – Coordinate and execute campaign implementation phases Processes and Inventory – Challenge the status quo and identify areas for improvement – Propose and implement cost-reduction or benefit-increasing opportunities – Lead and monitor the implementation of improvement plans – Encourage MMD team members to seek improvement opportunities Client Relations – Support MMD Sales with media approach proposals – Address customer complaints and provide solutions during campaign implementation 4. Digital Signage Networks Manage, plan, and execute business development for digital signage networks – Serve as MMD SPOC for internal and third-party digital signage networks – Align regularly with stakeholders (IT, Security, Legal, Marketing, etc.) – Manage relationships with service providers to ensure performance – Monitor media availability and take corrective action if needed – Establish procedures to improve daily processes for digital signage 5. People Management Attract, motivate, manage, and evaluate team members (MMD Operations Trainee/Assistant) – Share knowledge and experience with team – Provide coaching and feedback to develop marketing and operational skills – Foster trust and team spirit within the team 6. Knowledge Management Monitor relevant developments and exchange information with internal/external stakeholders – Stay informed on new possibilities (technologies, trends, etc.) – Attend seminars and events to stay current – Share insights on competitor products/services and approaches – Contribute to knowledge transfer within the organization
