Function information

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and implementation of B2B marketing communications activities for one of the agency’s key clients, under the leadership of the Account Director. Working closely with client and account teams, you will be expected to plan and drive multiple projects with minimum supervision, identifying and proactively addressing issues and deliver consistent high-quality work in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop a solid understanding of clients’ business and challenges to provide value-added communications counsel and contribute to designing effective communications strategies.
  • Content marketing copy-writing for different audiences and communications channels, from product literature to videos, info-graphics, websites, and social media.
  • Lead and coordinate creative projects working with account and creative teams for the design and production of print and digital marketing materials.
  • Events management and coordination, working closely with client, creative teams and external suppliers.
  • Develop strong relationships with target media and execute media relations initiatives, including news pitching, drafting news releases and other media materials, and actively identify media opportunities.
  • Contribute to new ideas generation, brainstorms and new business initiatives.

Requirements

  • You have a higher education in Communications or PR related discipline.
  • You are a passionate communicator with 4 to 6 years of relevant professional experience, ideally with a B2B and/or agency background.
  • You are English native or have an equivalent level. Other languages would be an asset.
  • You have excellent copywriting and storytelling skills, able to translate technical language into compelling stories.
  • You understand digital marketing and have experience in planning and executing social media strategies.
  • You have strong project management skills and proven track record in planning and coordinating events such as trade shows, business events, conferences, workshops.
  • You have a proven track record in successfully developing and managing media relations programs. You know how to sell, tell and write a story.
  • You are also known for building strong client relationships: you are a trusted advisor and account manager to clients and demonstrate sound and timely decision-making.
  • You like to wrap your head around client challenges and translate them into communications strategies. You can independently drive strategy execution.
  • You have a commercial mindset and like working with senior staff in business development areas that can lead to organic growth within existing clients or to new business opportunities.
  • You are customer-focused, a problem solver, challenge-driven, curious, flexible, stress-resistant, pro-active, a team player and above all enthusiastic, willing and keen.
